FIBERCOMPOSITE

Our solutions for your successful projects.

Our technology

From the dry fiber to the finished component. The creation of a fiber composite profile in the shortest possible time and in the smallest possible space. The fascinating thing about pultrusion is also its greatest strength. Continuity enables cost-effectiveness. And consistently stable quality. DIN 9001 certified.

It all starts with the individual raw materials. Whether glass, carbon or natural fibres; as roving, fleece, fabric or scrim; whether epoxy, polyurethane or even a completely non-combustible inorganic resin, the portfolio is large and the possibilities for customization almost unlimited.

Once the selection has been made, the semi-finished fiber products are first impregnated with resin in an automated, continuous pultrusion process in an open or closed system and then shaped using an infeed. This ensures that every fiber is in the right place and optimally fulfils its task in the finished component.

The generated fiber-matrix strand runs into a heated tool and leaves it after a short time as a finished, hardened profile – a perfect replica of the tool contour. And although it could go on forever, at some point it has to come to an end: a flying saw turns the endless profile into individual components of the desired length. A process under permanent tension. Drawing is the crucial part – hence the “PUL” in pultrusion.

PRESSURE-TRANSMITTING INSULATING ELEMENT

Fastening heavy façade console anchors thermally decoupled? With general building authority approval? The pressure-transmitting insulating element makes this possible. Optimized in terms of insulation performance (lambda value approx. 0.13 W/mK) and maximum compressive strength, the stackable, 5mm and 10mm thick panel elements with the special trapezoidal corrugation can be used in a variety of ways. This is confirmed by the general building authority approval. It verifies a compressive strength that is comparable to that of add-on parts made of steel.

FACADE WALL HOLDER

The façade wall bracket for fixing ventilated rainscreen façades (VHF) not only looks completely different to previously known products for this application. It reverses the installation process: first insulate the entire surface and then fix the substructure of the VHF to the load-bearing wall. This makes the VHF wall bracket much more user-friendly. And maximizes thermal decoupling. Firstly, by using glass fiber-reinforced plastic with a thermal conductivity value that is many times lower than that of an aluminum wall bracket. Secondly, because there are no longer any gaps between the fixing and the insulation, which act as a thermal bridge. A really well-rounded solution!

WINDOW MOUNTING SYSTEM

The innovative mounting system for the thermally optimized installation of windows is based on GRP profiles that are extremely stable under all loads and permanently resistant to environmental influences. With their low thermal conductivity, they are ideal for a highly thermally efficient construction method. The typical thermal bridges in the area of windows are reduced to a minimum. With the overall design of the system and its accessory components, the solution goes far beyond the outstanding material properties of GRP: simple, fast and error-free installation, a considerable reduction in the amount of work required and a reduced need for fixing materials are impressive proof of fisco’s expertise: innovative material technology combined with maximizing user benefits. This is how we understand “added value”.

<h3 style=“text-align: center;”><span style=“color: #ffffff;”>CFRP LAMELLES FOR STRENGTHENING CARRIERS</span></h3>
Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) is a highly technical material that is not only in great demand in almost all areas of mobility and sports equipment. The extreme tensile strength of CFRP composite elements also provides a fundamental benefit in the construction sector for technically highly demanding applications. If the stability of a bridge structure is no longer guaranteed due to overloading or damage mechanisms, reinforcement measures are required. These include the use of CFRP lamellas, which are bonded to the reinforced concrete surface using suitable adhesive systems, taking into account the technical guidelines and normative requirements of the respective country. While the load on a bridge is constantly increasing, its service life can be considerably extended by using CFRP slats. Stronger for longer – that too is sustainability. Especially if a material, labor and time-intensive new reinforced concrete construction is avoided for many years to come.

RAMP SYSTEM FOR BARRIER FREEDOM

The modular ramp system from fisco solves previous problems in the construction of barrier-free access. Thanks to an innovative fastening system, less time-consuming drilling of holes in the ground is required. Variably positionable fixing points help to avoid reinforcement hits in the concrete. The closed, slip-resistant surface not only looks good, it also prevents dirt deposits and reduces tripping hazards for wheelchair users and pedestrians.
The low weight of the individual elements of less than 20 kg, combined with the clever fastening system, enables installation in record time.
The use of the non-combustible fiber composite material fi:resist® (A1-certified according to DIN EN 13501-1) meets the highest fire protection requirements. As fi:resist® is electrically non-conductive, the ramp system is particularly suitable for installation close to the track in urban and subway railroad systems.
The modular ramp system can be extended as required and adapted to specific requirements. Accessibility has never been easier.

Our service

CONCEPT
We start where the shoe pinches. Where work is being done. On the construction site, for example, where you think "This has to be done better." Here, we pick up the ball. We not only replace an existing material with a smart fiber reinforced composite material, but we also take the opportunity to walk around the whole problem and illuminate it from every angle. 360°. To then create a completely new solution concept. A better one.
DESIGN
From the first idea to the finished product. With fisco, you go the entire way of development together. Finding new solutions. Thinking differently. From initial drafts and functional sketches, we develop detailed CAD models. Thanks to additive manufacturing, your ideas take on a first form. Whether it's a simple profile or a complex component, your vision becomes reality.
ENGINEERING
Unlimited possibilities for an optimal solution. With modern FEM tools and our experience in designing fiber composite components, we optimize your product concept. Inner values count. From a large portfolio, we develop the best fiber-matrix combination for your requirements. We determine the performance values of near-series prototypes in our own test laboratories and thus have an immediate influence on the development. Quick and effective.
TOOL CONSTRUCTION
Everything from a single source. Through internal planning and production of pultrusion tools, we adapt them perfectly to the requirements of your product. Without friction losses – in production and planning. Whether it's a prototype or series tool, we have the right solution for you.
MANUFACTURING
Participating in innovation. With fisco, you have the opportunity to benefit from various innovative technologies for the production of fiber reinforced composites through pultrusion. Whether it's thermoplastic pultrusion or the innovative non-combustible material fi:resist - with us, you use future-oriented technologies for the success of your products. In addition to our own developments around pultrusion, we draw on a variety of different fiber and matrix materials to optimally realize your product technically and economically.
MACHINING
Cutting, drilling, punching, deburring. So that your component becomes the finished product.
ASSEMBLY
Not every component is a profile. But often made from profiles. We are happy to do everything that makes more out of profiles, such as connecting, bonding, filling, joining, priming, painting, sanding, labeling.
